Refund policy


If you have made a purchase from and you are not happy with the product, you may exchange or return within 30 days of the delivery date.

Most MagBak products are covered up to one year from product delivery for any manufacturing defects.

We only replace products that are defective, missing parts, or damaged during shipping.

Clearance items - All sales on clearance items are final sale and will not be eligible for refunds or replacements.

Please note: MagBak products with electronics sold on our website (including, but not limited to, MultiCharger, Tesla Charger, Car Wireless Charger and Halo) will be covered up to six months from product delivery.

Replacements can only be requested within the product warranty.

If a replacement unit is issued, the warranty will be transferred to the new unit and will not cover the original item. However, the warranty period will commence from the date of delivery of the initial order. If the original item is exchanged, the delivery date of the original order will be taken into account for both the 30-day return period and the warranty period. It's important to note that any subsequent exchanges, replacements, or re-shipments after the initial order will not be eligible for the return policy.

Replacement products shipped within the US will be free within one year of purchase. Replacement products shipped internationally will be charged an international shipping fee.

The MagBak RimCase is backed by a 6-month warranty against manufacturing defects. However, it is important to keep in mind that the warranty does not cover damages caused by inappropriate use, improper operation, or incorrect installation. These types of damages may include impact damage, damage from hazardous liquids, exposure to extreme heat/cold, or any other damage resulting from acts of God or improper fitment. Furthermore, any damages caused by vandalism or other external sources will not be covered under the warranty.

Once your return is received we will let you know by email that the refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.

If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

MagBak RimCase - You may return the product for a refund within 30 days from the date of delivery. Our team will review your request and respond within 24-48 hours to confirm whether your return has been approved.

Please note that any costs associated with returning the product will be the responsibility of the customer, unless otherwise specified by MagBak. The returned product must be in its original packaging, including all parts and instructions, and must be in fully resalable condition. The item should not have been used or assembled in any way. If the product shows any signs of use or if it's been assembled, item will not be accepted and returned back to the customer.

All unused returns for the MagBak RimCase will be charged a $35 re-stocking fee.


If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again. Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. 

Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted. Credit card funds may take an additional 2-10 Business Days after the credit is applied.

First off, we want to thank you for supporting our business by making your pledge on Kickstarter. Your support helps us design new products, improve existing ones and in turn grow our business.

Each Kickstarter Campaign for us, is a great undertaking. The funds we receive  are allocated for various tasks such as securing vendors, product manufacturing etc. There are also a number of fees that are associated with each campaign. Therefore we do not offer returns or refunds for rewards that are received through Kickstarter.

In the Kickstarter community, the “reward” you receive for your pledge is a token of our appreciation. 

If you feel like the items you received offers no value to you - here are some suggestions of what you can do with it in the spirit of crowdfunding.

Offer it to a friend or family member

Our product may have not worked out for you but it may workout for someone you know. We would love for you to share MagBak with someone you think may find it useful.

Sell your Reward

Most of our Kickstarter rewards are listed at below retail value and some of the items that go up on Kickstarter are offered only for our backers. This might be an opportunity for you to get a higher value than what you paid for.

Give MagBak another try

Some of our products may not workout for you at first but give it a little bit of time you may end up really liking it!
